It has been said that a balanced diet, low in carbs helps to maintain blood sugar and lose weight.
The best advice I can give is to find a way of eating that you can stick to. Figure out where you are in terms of what you’re eating and begin to phase out foods with high impact on your blood sugar. My thing is to swap for a healthier version of my favorite foods.

Good advice about limiting carbs because carbs turn to sugar I guess salads and vegetables and lean meat would help me but not there yet I'm semi homeless I'm dog watching for a woman I try to help in recovery and eat too much junk food but next week back home and Lord willing change is coming looking for better days and better health.
