Has any one gone to a chiropractor for migraines?
Just hoping this works.
I have tried so many things for migraines over the years and know how individual the responses are. Have you had your migraines for a long time?
Yes its the best cure!!!
AlluringAlyssa25, did your treatment for migraine work right away?

That's so great to hear that chiropractic support helped your migraines @AlluringAlyssa25!
Let us know how your appointment went @deanna walker! Did it help at all? In what ways?
So far it hasn't helped but it's still pretty new
Deanna, How many migraines do you get a month and have you had a work up?
I haven't tried visiting a chiropractor, but I've had folks recommend acupuncture. Is one move effective than the other for this group?
@Coastal2828, my migraines started over 60 years ago when there was not a lot that could be done. As the years went by I probably tried everything you could name and saw as many headache specialists as I could find. Apparently, if you have more than three a month they would consider giving you a preventative medication.
While I think Acupuncture and/or chiropractic can be equally helpful, sometimes you have to combine therapies. There are few things as painful as a migraine. I love the idea of first trying alternative methods before going to medication. However, when the pain is so extreme you can't work or do the normal tasks of daily living, you really need a specialist.
As to acupuncture, I find many things it did to help me and there are 5000 years of Chinese Medicine behind the work. As to chiropractic, there are some practitioners skilled in cranial sacral, last I checked that seemed to offer the most hope.
I would love to hear what worked for others!
@Deanna Walker, how are you doing so far in June?
